JALON
A small town only ten minutes away with beautiful scenery, bodegas for wine tasting and buying and it's famous flea market on Saturdays.

JAVEA
A larger town with a marina and facilities for all kinds of water sports. The old town of Javea is a labyrinth of narrow streets whilst the Arenal area has a beautiful clean, golden sandy beach.

DENIA
A lovely old town with a castle, harbour, fishing fleet and lots of super shops, not to mention 30 miles of golden sands. When it comes to water sports Denia has them all, from sailing to yachting clubs to diving and windsurfing.

MORAIRA
30 minute drive from the villa and has an abundance of restaurants and shops. Moraira is free from high rise development and package tourism. Originally a fishing village, it is now a small resort town with a marina and several sandy beaches and coves.

CALPE 
A fishing village and is dominated by the towering rock of Ifach. The Peñón de Ifach is the symbol of Calpe and, by extension, of the Costa Blanca. It is the highest rock in the entire Mediterranean and divides Calpe's shoreline in two. A 30 minute drive from the villa this town has three beautiful sandy beaches.

GUADALEST
Well worth a visit. It is a fantastic drive into the mountains and the Moorish castle of Guadalest is spectacular.

BENIDORM
About 40 minutes drive from Orba. The bright lights and attractions of Benidorm can either be reached by a scenic route across the hills, or for the less adventurous, via the A-7 motorway. Using the motorway should take around 40 minutes, whilst the scenic route is more like 90 minutes and you may find that you use a lot of film on the dramatic Spanish countryside, and take detours to the historic town of Guadalest and the cooling waterfalls at Fonts de l'Algar. Major Benidorm attractions include the Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar Marine Animal park, and the Terra Mitica Theme Park.
