The closest beach is a short 15 minute drive at Las Marinas.

There are beautiful sandy beaches in Javea, Calpe, Moraira and Denia which are all withing a 30 minute drive.

All beaches have safe bathing. 

 

Las Marinas (15 minutes)

The nearest beach stretches 20 kilometres from just north of Denia towards Oliva.

Soft sand, gentle shelving and warm water! Drive Benidoleig/Ondara/N332 towards Oliva/Follow signs to La Playa.

 

Denia (20 minutes)

Town beach just south of the marina leading to an hour or more coastal walk to Las Rotas.

Swimming from rocks and snorkelling.

Scenic Drive between Denia and Javea with walks to Lighthouse and Cap Sant de Antoni.

 

Javea (30 minutes)

Port area with promenade and shingle beach. Arenal beach, sandy with play areas for children
and cafes and shops.

 

Cap Negre and Cap de la Nao (30 minutes)

For walking and super sea views.

 

Moraira (35 Minutes)

Small beach and low rise 'English' resort.

Between Moraira and Calpe.

Various beaches down from the riviera drive. Good for swimming and snorkelling.

 

Calpe (25 minutes)

High rise resort, busy but clean and good beaches and all facilities.

 

Oliva (20 minutes) 

Long quiet sandy beach, mostly Spanish town north of Ondara. 

 

Altea

Take the train from Benissa 'Estacion' (quarter to the hour). Get off at Garganes and
climb to the Blue Dome. Take coffee and wander down the streets and steps to the sea
for a swim and late lunch. Take the train back from Altea.
